LUNA is a fictional Scandinavian brand, with a luxury packaging concept for traditional Chinese mooncakes. The cakes are rooted in the Mid-Autumn Festival, a celebration of the full moon, togetherness, and gratitude. The circular symbolism of the festival is reflected in the logo, while the overall design focuses on creating a refined and sensorial experience. The deep red and yellow/gold colors references prosperity and festivity in China, and is establishing a strong cultural foundation. The box contains six individual units, highlighting the ritual of sharing. A clean, minimal exterior contrasts with the more vibrant interior, with a pattern inspired by liúshājiān (Chinese water marbling). The design emphasizes atmosphere and occasion, using color, material, and contrast to create a distinct sense of chinese luxury in a Scandi home.
